Wrap Up UK is a project run by a number of Rotary Clubs around the country working in partnership with Hands On London. Wrap Up UK is organised by four Rotarians from the Accrington club. The aim of a Wrap Up campaign is to collect unwanted warm winter coats from members of the public and give them to local organisations who provide frontline services to those in need. When an individual receives a coat, they also discover other forms of support available to them. Since Wrap Up UK first started in 2018, a total of 172, 842 coats have been collected, sorted, and distributed to our beneficiaries. These include homeless shelters, women’s refuges, children’s charities, refugee associations, food banks, schools and places of worship. Anywhere where warm clothing is needed and we can help spread warmth

FareShare is the UK's largest food redistribution charity. It sources and redistributes quality, good-to-eat surplus food, which would otherwise have gone to waste. Its primary objective is to help reduce food insecurity and tackle food waste by turning an environmental problem into a social solution. The organisations it supplies provide vital support to those who are vulnerable and facing economic hardship.
