Corporate Membership

CONNECTING WITH BUSINESSES AND SOCIAL GROUPS TO GROW ROTARY

ABOUT CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP.

Corporate membership is a huge opportunity for business, commercial and social organisations. Each town, village or community has groups that operate within it, many of whom can gain hugely from engaging with Rotary's network.

What is Corporate Membership

Corporate Membership allows a Rotary club to involve an organisation – or any business, non-profit or government entity, or social group – in Rotary, by offering an alternate membership package to some of its employees.

How does Corporate Membership work?

Corporate membership involves an agreement with an organisation, which then pays for or subsidises the subscription for employees to join a local club.

A business itself cannot be a corporate member, only people can be members of a Rotary club and of Rotary International.

An organisation pays a single membership subscription (for the Primary member), then up to 3 employees (Alternates) can be actively involved in the club, for the price of one membership. The subscription is the same as individual members of the club pay.

Someone is inducted as the ‘Primary Member’, with the others classed as ‘Alternate Members’. All of these members can engage in club activities, attend meetings, receive club information and more.

Primary Members are also eligible to hold officer positions within the club (Secretary, President and Treasurer.

Corporate members are also eligible to be part of Rotary GB&I's direct member network if the club option does not suit them.

  • By actively engaging with Rotary Great Britain & Ireland (Rotary GB&I) as a Rotary Corporate Member we are committed to help you fulfil your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in community service and sustainable development projects. Your organisation and its employees collaborating with Rotary GB&I could contribute to local and global initiatives focused on improving health, education, and economic development, thereby creating a positive impact on society.

  • Opportunities may range from joining in small scale local projects in your community such as planting trees, litter picking, tidying up the environment, and helping individuals in need of support; through to larger scale service activities in your community, nationally or internationally. As Rotarians you will have ample opportunity to engage with all service and humanitarian projects being undertaken by your Club, thus adding to your organisation’s commitment to CSR and environmental aims.

  • A partnership with a Rotary Club enables your company to leverage Rotary’s extensive network, expertise, and resources to address pressing social issues, promote ethical business practices, and support environmental sustainability.

  • By aligning volunteering opportunities with your Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policy, you will not only fulfil your CSR responsibilities but also enhance your commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices, ultimately contributing in making the world a better place for all.
